Accessing Trainee Profiles
To view a trainee's profile, navigate to "Trainees" in the menu, locate the trainee, and click their name.
Alternatives: You can also click on a trainee's name from various sections, such as the "Statistics" page, the "Competency Explorer," and other relevant views within the preparedEPACockpit.
Competency Profile Layout
Left Pane: Competency Profile Overview
- Displays the trainee's EPA-based competency profile according to the curriculum
- The visual representation of each EPA is the same as in the app
- Filters and Search
- Filter EPAs by qualification profiles to focus on specific subsets of the EPAs.
- Use the "Search EPA" field to locate specific EPAs by typing part of the name.
- Filter for only assessed EPAs
- A hierarchical structure allows easy navigation through nested EPAs.
Right Pane: Assessment Details and Timeline
- Latest Assessments List:
- Chronologically sorted with the most recent assessments at the top.
- Includes both supervised assessments and self-assessments.
- Filter Options
- By assessment type: supervised or self-assessments.
- By date range: last 30 days, 90 days, one year, or a custom range.
- For specific EPAs: Click on an EPA on the left-hand side to filter results. You can further refine by selecting complexity or supervision level.
- Use the "x" to clear any applied filters.
- Visual Assessment Timeline
- Shows the evolution of supervision levels over time for a specific EPA.
- Appears only when an individual EPA is selected on the left.
- Squares represent self-assessments; circles represent supervisor assessments
- Each of the 4 data series (e.g. Simple / Trainee) can be set to inactive if needed
- Detailed Assessment Timeline
- Provides a detailed list of assessments for the selected EPA, including:
- Date and time of assessment.
- Name of the supervisor.
- Feedback / Learning Goal (if available).
- Assigned supervision levels
- Scrollable for historical reviews and trends.

Requirement: Data Privacy Settings
To access detailed assessment data, trainees must activate this specific privacy setting in the preparedEPA app:
- "Tailored Teaching and Assignments"
These options can be found in the trainee's profile settings within the preparedEPA app. Without these settings, detailed data will remain inaccessible to program directors and educators.
